Meet Dr. Prairie

Dr. Keeya Prairie is a licensed clinical psychologist in Oregon and New York, specializing in obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), early childhood wounds, and psychological assessment. She earned her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from the University of Indianapolis and completed her postdoctoral internship at Southern Utah University’s Counseling and Psychological Services, with a focus on queer, rural, and religious intersections.

Dr. Prairie utilizes Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Internal Family Systems (IFS), parts work, and mindfulness to treat all OCD subtypes, including harm, contamination, sexual orientation, pedophilic, relationship, religious/scrupulosity, checking, symmetry, taboo thoughts, health anxiety, and existential themes. She also provides comprehensive psychological assessments, with a special interest in ADHD and learning differences in adults, particularly women who are often overlooked or misdiagnosed.

Dr. Prairie is dedicated to providing affirming, evidence-based care in a safe, inclusive environment for all clients, including LGBTQIA+ and gender nonconforming individuals. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time with her dog, Buffalo.
